In this project  different groups of students had to come up with a horror story. After writing a plot, they had to find the best graphic way to advertise their story.
First, students did some figure studies, then they practised how to use text effectively (perspective and projected text). Finally they elaborated their poster.

Mexican Art and Shrines

This was a long project: its aim was to study the repetition of patterns and the lines that were forming them. First we looked at patterns in Mexican Art and we studied how patterns are  repeated in icons, mask and other objects. Then we got the student to pose for the big posters.
The project evolved into thinking of an object / person dear or important to each student... something personal, little, to turn into something big, like an idol. Finally each student developed a 3-D piece, shrine, and decorated it with repetitive patterns.
